We build our 03 Recording Series using only all-solid Indian Rosewood or African Khaya Mahogany. Just like our top-end models, this series features our hand-fit dovetail neck joint for superior fit and sustain. Available in satin finish and all body styles, the 03 Series is our most versatile line played by pros and beginners alike. Whether it’s front stage at the coliseum, local jam night at the pub, or just picking & grinning on the couch, this is a series built for all players.
The 40 Series features our revolutionized parabolic hybrid bracing combination. Utilizing nonsymmetrical scalloped lateral cross-bracing, the 40 Series allows even further vibration of the soundboard, resulting in a much greater dynamic and controlled bass response. Traditional features found on the 40’s include scalloped hybrid bracing, bold rope rosette and purfling, inlaid diamond fret markers, open-back engraved tuners, and traditional flat top headstock.

The PS12ce showcases Taylor's finest tonewoods and most luxurious visual appointments. This compact acoustic-electric features back and sides of solid Honduran rosewood whose beautiful grain pattern matches its husky, yet sparkling voice. Sinker redwood for the top adds warmth and touch sensitivity similar to cedar's, but with a much higher volume ceiling. V-Class bracing elevates the response even further with more power and sustain, while the Grand Concert body helps maintain definition that will especially please fingertstyle players. An ebony armrest offers a more comfortable experience, and a deluxe package of paua and mother-of-pearl details rounds out the package. The PS12ce ships with ES2 electronics and a hardshell case.
The Builder's Edition 912ce sports all-solid tonewoods and an array of comfort-focused touches that make it one of our most refined Grand Concert models. Indian rosewood back and sides team with a Lutz spruce top to produce rich overtones and a stunning balance of low-end presence, chime-like trebles and a slight scoop in the midrange that leaves room for vocals. The compact body offers an intimate feel along with strong definition between notes, making this a great option for fingerstyle players. V-Class bracing inside elevates the response with more volume and sustain, while the chamfered edges, beveled cutaway and armrest remove all barriers to a comfortable playing experience. Finally, the Silent Satin finish helps reduce noise from the player's movement.
There's a reason why the 814ce is Taylor's most acclaimed guitar: With its blend of refined craftsmanship, richly textured sound and artful aesthetics, the 814ce represents everything that we stand for as guitar builders. East Indian rosewood back and sides, a Sitka spruce top and V-Class bracing produce a lush response with warm lows, pristine trebles and a slightly scooped midrange, leaving space in the mix for vocals or other instruments. Ideal for flatpicked lead lines, strumming, delicate fingerpicking and everything in between, this Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric boasts a versatile character that translates beautifully in amplified settings through the ES2 pickup. A deluxe hardshell case keeps the 814ce safe wherever you take it.
The all-new 724ce launches a new era for the Taylor 700 Series, introducing Select-grade Hawaiian koa to this popular family of acoustic guitars. You’ll hear a bold attack with an energetic tone profile that yields crisp trebles, a rich midrange and a low end that grows in over time. The super-thin matte finish makes for a raw feel and aesthetic that’s complemented by mother-of-pearl Fountain inlays, rosewood binding, a paua shell rosette and a dark-stained maple pickguard. It includes the ES2 acoustic pickup and a deluxe hardshell guitar case for storage and protection.
With its traditionally vibrant, player-reflective sound, maple makes a natural tonewood counterpart for the bold-voiced GT body shape and its bass-boosting C-Class bracing. Taylor's first Grand Auditorium guitar featuring back and sides of Urban Ironbark, the 514ce delivers a sweet, muscular sound that combines rosewood's high-fidelity voice with mahogany's warm and punchy midrange and spectrum-wide sonic balance. Paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top for a played-in, mature sound and V-Class bracing for improved volume and sustain, the 514ce yields power ideal for heavy strummers along with touch sensitivity that gives it a wide dynamic range that's great for fingerstyle players. With new Aerial inlays in Italian acrylic, a single-ring abalone rosette, a subtle stain that highlights Urban Ironbark's rich red hues, a lightly shaded edgeburst and gloss-finish body, the 514ce blends traditional and contemporary visual styles.
